Sake uit Fukushima verovert de wereld! YouTube-serie over aantrekkingskracht sake en trots van meesterbrouwers gelanceerd

FUKUSHIMA, Japan–(BUSINESS WIRE)– In het kader van zijn slogan ‘Future from Fukushima’ hebben overheden van de prefectuur Fukushima vooral Facebook aangewend als hun platform voor het delen van informatie. Dit voorzag in een forum voor iedereen, binnen en buiten de prefectuur, die interactief betrokken wil zijn. Alle overheidsinstellingen werken samen aan een gevoel van eendracht en sturen vanuit Fukushima de boodschap van ‘Verwondering’ en ‘Nu’ de wereld in.

In Fukushima geproduceerde sake werd op de International Wine Challenge 2015 in de categorie ‘sake’ uitgeroepen tot ‘Champion Sake’. Sake uit Fukushima won ook al goud bij de uitreiking van de Japanse National New Sake Awards van het brouwjaar 2014. Dit was het derde jaar op rij dat sake uit Fukushima deze prijs in de wacht sleepte, waarmee het een van de beste sakes van Japan is. Sake uit Fukushima is reeds bekend in thuisland Japan, maar krijgt nu steeds meer aandacht van mensen uit andere delen van de wereld. Op 15 januari 2016 heeft de prefectuur een YouTube-serie gelanceerd die bruist van de aantrekkingskracht die de wereldberoemde sake uit Fukushima uitoefent.

Fukushima-produced sake favored as it earns “Champion Sake” at IWC 2015
Fukushima-produced sake was awarded “Champion Sake” in the sake category at IWC 2015 (International Wine Challenge 2015), an international wine competition held annually in London to assess excellence in wines. Sake from the Fukushima region has also been awarded the Gold Prize in Japan’s “National New Sake Awards Ceremony” for the 2014 Brewery Year. This marks a third consecutive year for Fukushima sake to capture the award, giving them the distinction of being the foremost sake in Japan. Already well-known in their home country of Japan, sake from Fukushima has been capturing the attention of people worldwide.
On January 15, 2016 the prefecture has officially released YouTube videos brimming with the compelling appeal of Fukushima’s world-renowned sake.

The videos express the traditions that such artisans have passed down from brewer to brewer, their unremitting discipline, and how they face the challenge of bringing their craft into the future.
