Allinial Global en IAPA International ondertekenen intentieverklaring over krachtenbundeling

ATLANTA & FARNHAM, England–(BUSINESS WIRE)– Het in de Verenigde Staten gevestigde Allinial Global en IAPA International (IAPA) uit het Verenigd Koninkrijk hebben vandaag bekendgemaakt dat de directies van beide organisaties een intentieverklaring hebben ondertekend met betrekking tot een krachtenbundeling. Een combinatie van de bedrijven zou een entiteit van 300 leden uit 79 creëren, met een jaarlijkse omzet uit honoraria van 2,6 miljard dollar. Dat komt neer op de op twee na grootste vereniging van onafhankelijke boekhoud- en consultkantoren ter wereld.

President en ceo van Allinial Global Terry Snyder en ceo van IAPA Stephen Hamlet  staan aan het hoofd van een groep afgevaardigden van beide organisaties die verdere gesprekken voert en de noodzakelijke details van een samenvoeging uitwerkt. De voorgestelde combinatie hangt af van een definitief akkoord van de directies en leden. Indien goedgekeurd, voltrekt de combinatie zich naar verwachting eind 2016.

 

 

Allinial Global and IAPA International Sign Letter of Intent to Combine Forces

 

ATLANTA & FARNHAM, England–(BUSINESS WIRE)– U.S.-based Allinial Global and U.K.-based IAPA International (IAPA) announced today that the management teams for both associations have signed a Letter of Intent to join forces. A combination would create an entity with 300 members in 79 countries with annual fee revenue of over $2.6 billion — making it the third largest association of independent accounting and consulting firms in the world.

Allinial Global’s President and CEO Terry Snyder and IAPA’s CEO Stephen Hamlet will lead a team of representatives from both associations into further discussions and work through the necessary details. The proposed combination is subject to the execution of a definitive agreement with board and membership approval. If approved, the combination is expected to occur by the end of 2016.
