SUNNYVALE, Californië–(BUSINESS WIRE)– Expway announced today that the Samsung Galaxy S 7, Galaxy S 7 edge and Galaxy Note 7 are available worldwide for selected mobile operators with Expway’s LTE Broadcast Middleware. The decision comes after a successful deployment of Samsung’s flagship devices including the Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 edge and Galaxy Note 5 with Expway Middleware in selected markets last year.

The market for LTE Broadcast solutions is heating-up. It has evolved from early venue-casting applications, where fans could watch a game or concert simultaneously while in the stadium.

Consumers are watching more live content and accessing virtual reality apps on their mobile devices than ever. Today LTE Broadcast is seen as a solution to enable large-scale audiences to not only view important live events in high quality from wherever they might be, but also as a powerful push-file solution for broadcasting massive amounts of data.

Operators see a lot of value in pre-loading devices with popular content or targeted mobile ads and enhancing the performance of their CDN.
