PITTSBURGH–(BUSINESS WIRE)– Knopp Biosciences LLC today announced it has received United States Patent No. 9,481,653 entitled “Benzoimidazol-1,2-yl amides as Kv7 channel activators.” The patent relates to the company’s discovery program in neonatal epileptic encephalopathy and other seizure disorders, for which novel treatments are urgently needed.
