Dubai Airports: Terminalhal D verwelkomt in eerste jaar 16,6 miljoen passagiers
DUBAI, Verenigde Arabische Emiraten–(BUSINESS WIRE)– Terminalhal D viert op 24 februari zijn 1-jarige jubileum. De kende een succesvol openingsjaar, waarin meer dan 16,6 miljoen passagiers hebben genoten van klantvriendelijk ontwerp en een topaanbod van winkels en eten en drinken.
Hal D is het laatste grote bouwwerk van de luchthaven DXB dat in het kader van het 7,8 miljard dollar kostende Strategisch Plan 2020 is gebouwd. Op 24 februari 2016 opende het de deuren. De faciliteit van 1,2 miljard dollar biedt plaats aan zestig internationale luchtvaartmaatschappijen die vanuit Terminal 1 van DXB 90 bestemmingen over de hele wereld met elkaar verbinden. De nieuwe hal verruimt de jaarlijkse capaciteit van het vliegveld van 75 miljoen naar 90 miljoen passagiers.
