TE Connectivity presenteert 3-in-2-connector voor geheugenkaarten
HARRISBURG, Pa.–(BUSINESS WIRE)– TE Connectivity (TE), wereldleider in connectiviteit en sensoren, heeft vandaag zijn 3-in-2-kaartconnector gepresenteerd. De connector vormt de ideale oplossing voor de verbinding van sim- en micro-SD-kaarten in mobiele telefoons, tablets, ultraportables en persoonlijke computers. Het ruimtelijk efficiënte model heeft twee openingen die geschikt zijn voor twee simkaarten of één simkaart en één micro-SD-kaart. Daarmee bespaart de connector bijna 20 procent aan printplaatruimte ten opzichte van andere combinatiemodellen voor kaartconnectors.
De nieuwe 3-in-2-kaartconnector van TE heeft een vernieuwd anti-knikontwerp om schade aan kaarten bij het inbrengen en verwijderen te voorkomen. Daardoor zijn de koppelingen robuuster dan die in concurrerende producten. Het ruimtebesparende design bestaat verder uit een push-pinsysteem met mechanische lockfunctie. Daarnaast is de coplanariteit van de connector verbeterd, wat het aantal defecten beperkt en soldering vergemakkelijkt.
