AURAK tekent een memorandum van overeenstemming met Al-Farabi Kazakh National University
RAS AL KHAIMAH, Verenigde Arabische Emiraten–(BUSINESS WIRE)– De president van The American University of Ras Al Khaimah (AURAK), professor Hassan Hamdan Al Alkim, en de rector van de Al-Farabi Kazakh National University (KazNU), professor Galimkair Mutanov, van de Republiek van Kazachstan, tekenden een Memorandum van overeenstemming (MoU), waarin ze hebben afgesproken om studenten, faculteit en onderzoek uit te wisselen.
Met als doel het stimuleren van een internationale relatie tussen de Republiek van Kazachstan en de Verenigde Arabische Emiraten, en het ontwikkelen van bilaterale relaties in het educatieve en wetenschappelijke veld, en met als wens om hun eigen contributies te maken aan de ontwikkeling van een samenwerking tussen de twee organisaties, tekenen AURAK en de Al-Farabi Kazakh National University een MoU.
Het memorandum van overeenstemming streeft naar het promoten van educatieve en wetenschappelijke samenwerking, dat gefaciliteerd zou kunnen worden door de uitwisseling van studenten en faculteitsleden, alsmede samenwerking in onderzoek. De recent ondertekende overeenkomst levert ook een basis voor culturele uitwisseling tussen de VAE en de Republiek van Kazachstan, alsmede de mogelijkheid voor warmere academische banden tussen de twee organisaties, door middel van dual degree programma’s.

In the spirit of fostering a close international relationship between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the United Arab Emirates, developing bilateral relations in educational and scientific fields, and wishing to make their own contributions to the development of cooperation between the two institutions, AURAK and the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University signed an MoU.
The memorandum of understanding aims to promote educational and scientific cooperation, which would be facilitated through the exchange of students and faculty, as well as collaboration in research. The newly-signed agreement also provides a basis for cultural exchange between the United Arab Emirates and the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as the possibility for even closer academic ties between the two institutions, through dual degree programs.

At present AURAK has a range of international partners across Africa, Asia, Europe, and North America, opening a wide spectrum of possibilities to students including exchange and study abroad programs for up to one year, as well as shorter summer sessions.
