MILAN & OTTAWA–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Payments Canada heeft vandaag de selectie van SIA aangekondigd als de applicatieprovider voor het nieuwe hoogwaardige betalingssysteem Lynx. Deze mijlpaal in de modernisering van betalingen is het resultaat van een uitgebreid inkoopproces met deelname van belangrijke industriële partners, waaronder Canadese financiële instellingen.
In april 2017 heeft Payments Canada een lijst met leveranciers aangekondigd die zijn uitgenodigd om deel te nemen aan een concurrerend aanbestedingsproces voor Lynx. Dit proces is beëindigd en Payments Canada heeft SIA geselecteerd als de Lynx-toepassingsprovider, onder voorbehoud van onderhandelingen over de definitieve overeenkomst en definitieve goedkeuring door de regelgevende instanties. SIA zal nauw samenwerken met Payments Canada en belangrijke stakeholders uit de sector bij de volgende versie van hun Real-Time Gross Settlement (RTGS)-toepassingsoplossing om te voldoen aan de behoeften die zijn vastgesteld tijdens consultaties voor de toekomst van betalingen in Canada, in overeenstemming met strikte Canadese en internationale risiconormen. Payments Canada Selects SIA As the Application Provider for Canada’s New High-Value Payments System, Lynx
MILAN & OTTAWA–(BUSINESS WIRE)– Payments Canada announced today the selection of SIA as the application provider for the country’s new high-value payments system, Lynx. This payments Modernization milestone is the outcome of an extensive procurement process with participation from key industry partners, including Canadian financial institutions.
In April 2017, Payments Canada announced a list of suppliers invited to participate in a competitive procurement process for Lynx. This process has ended, and Payments Canada has selected SIA as the Lynx application provider, subject to negotiation of the final agreement and final regulatory approval. SIA will work closely with Payments Canada and key industry stakeholders on the next version of their Real-Time Gross Settlement (RTGS) application solution to deliver on the needs identified during consultations for the future of payments in Canada, in compliance with strict Canadian and international risk standards.
