HOUSTON-(BUSINESS WIRE) – Ascend Performance Materials, de grootste volledig geïntegreerde producent ter wereld van nylon 6,6 hars, kondigde vandaag aan dat het de force majeur die rust op zijn polymeren, samenstellingen en vezels, alsmede hexamethyleendiamine of HMD, met onmiddellijke ingang opheft.
Ascend blijft investeren in capaciteit en is op schema om zijn eerder aangekondigde inspanningen voor capaciteitsuitbreiding tegen het einde van het jaar te voltooien.

Ascend to Lift Force Majeure on HMD, Polymers
HOUSTON–(BUSINESS WIRE)– Ascend Performance Materials, the world’s largest fully integrated producer of nylon 6,6 resin, announced today it is lifting the force majeure declared on its polymers, compounds and fibers, as well as hexamethylene diamine, or HMD, effective immediately.
Ascend continues to invest in capacity and is on track to complete its previously announced capacity expansion efforts by the end of the year.
