Sumitomo SHI FW wint contract voor CFB-ketel in Taiwan

ESPOO, Finland–(BUSINESS WIRE)– Sumitomo SHI FW (SFW) kondigt vandaag aan dat het een contract heeft gekregen van Cheng Loong Corporation, CLC voor een CFB stoomgenerator voor hun Chupei Mill in Taiwan. De commerciële exploitatie van de nieuwe boiler is gepland voor juli 2021.
SFW zal de 19 MWe CFB-stoomgenerator en hulpapparatuur ontwerpen en leveren en zal ook technische adviesdiensten verlenen voor de montage en inbedrijfstelling. Het CFB zal worden ontworpen om papierfabriekafval te verbranden als primaire brandstof en papierfabrieksslib en kolen als secundaire brandstoffen. Dit is de tweede CFB die SFW aan CLC heeft geleverd. In 2012 heeft Sumitomo Heavy Industries (SHI), als licentiehouder van SFW, een CFB-ketel met een vermogen van 35 MWe geleverd voor het stoken van steenkool en brandstof op basis van banden voor CLC’s Houli Mill.

ESPOO, Finland–(BUSINESS WIRE)– Sumitomo SHI FW (SFW) announces today that it has been awarded a contract by Cheng Loong Corporation, CLC for a CFB steam generator for their Chupei Mill in Taiwan. Commercial operation of the new boiler is scheduled for July 2021.
SFW will design and supply the 19 MWe CFB steam generator and auxiliary equipment and also provide technical advisory services for erection and commissioning. The CFB will be designed to burn paper mill rejects as primary fuel and paper mill sludges and coal as secondary fuels. This is the second CFB that SFW has supplied to CLC. In 2012, Sumitomo Heavy Industries (SHI), as a licensee of SFW, delivered a 35 MWe CFB boiler firing coal and tire derived fuel for CLC’s Houli Mill.
