Jefferies houdt vandaag 16 september wereldwijde hulpactie voor slachtoffers van de orkaan op de Bahama’s
NEW YORK & LONDEN & HONGKONG-(BUSINESS WIRE)- Jefferies kondigde aan dat vandaag de wereldwijde handelsdag van de firma is voor de hulpverlening aan de orkaan Dorian op de Bahama’s. Jefferies zal beleggers over de hele wereld de mogelijkheid bieden zich in te zetten om de slachtoffers van de verwoestingen door het weerfenomeen te helpen door te handelen met Jefferies.
Zoals eerder aangekondigd, zal Jefferies alle netto handelscommissies doneren die vandaag zijn verdiend uit de Amerikaanse, Europese en Aziatische aandelen-, vastrentende en valutahandel. Bovendien zal Jefferies als bedrijf zelf rechtstreeks 1 miljoen dollar doneren en zullen alle 3.656 werknemers wereldwijd de kans krijgen om hun salaris voor vandaag aan de hulpverlening te doneren. Jefferies to Hold Global Relief Day in Support of Hurricane Relief in the Bahamas Today, September 16
NEW YORK & LONDON & HONG KONG–(BUSINESS WIRE)– Jefferies announced that today is the firm’s global trading day for Hurricane Dorian relief efforts in the Bahamas. Jefferies will offer investors around the world the opportunity to join efforts to assist those affected by the devastation of this event by trading with Jefferies.
As previously announced, Jefferies will donate all net trading commissions earned today from U.S., European and Asia equity, fixed income and foreign exchange trading. In addition, Jefferies as a firm will donate $1 million itself directly, and all 3,656 employees worldwide will be given the opportunity to donate to the relief effort their salary for today. These contributions will be allocated to a series of charities with the goal of quickly getting funds to relief activities directly involved in the rescue and recovery efforts.
