Novostia verkrijgt 2,5 miljoen EUR subsidie van de Europese Unie ter ondersteuning van haar Heart Valve Technology
NEUCHÂTEL, Zwitserland– (BUSINESS WIRE) – Novostia kondigt aan dat het 2,5 miljoen EUR subsidie van de Europese Unie heeft ontvangen onder de zeer competitieve Horizon 2020 EIC Accelerator.
De EIC Accelerator maakt deel uit van de pilot van de European Innovation Council (EIC) die bedrijven van topklasse ondersteunt met financieringsmogelijkheden en versnellingsdiensten om hen te helpen innovatieve producten te ontwikkelen en op de markt te brengen die een groot potentieel hebben om de economische groei te stimuleren.
Novostia streeft naar verbetering van de kwaliteit van leven van mensen die lijden aan hartklepaandoeningen, met name kinderen en jonge patiënten, door hen een unieke, duurzame, antistollingsvrije en stille hartklepprothese te bieden.
Novostia Obtains EUR 2.5 Million Grant from the European Union To Support Its Heart Valve Technology
NEUCHÂTEL, Switzerland–(BUSINESS WIRE)– Novostia announces that it has been awarded EUR 2.5 million grant from the European Union under the highly competitive Horizon 2020 EIC Accelerator.
The EIC Accelerator is part of the European Innovation Council (EIC) pilot that supports topclass companies with funding opportunities and acceleration services to help them develop and bring to market innovative products that have high potential to drive economic growth.
Novostia aims at improving the quality of life of people suffering from heart valve disease, especially children and young patients, providing them with a unique, durable, anticoagulant-free and silent heart valve prosthesis.
