Veterinair parasiticide Felpreva® (tigolaner / emodepside / praziquantel) krijgt positief advies van Europees Comité voor geneesmiddelen voor diergeneeskundig gebruik (CVMP)
- Na goedkeuring zal Felpreva® een vergunning krijgen voor de behandeling van katten met, of risico lopen op, gemengde ectoparasieten en endoparasieteninfecties, en zal het uitsluitend worden geïndiceerd wanneer ectoparasieten, cestoden en nematoden tegelijkertijd worden geviseerd.
PARIJS–(BUSINESS WIRE)– Vetoquinol (Parijs: VETO) heeft vandaag aangekondigd dat het Comité voor geneesmiddelen voor diergeneeskundig gebruik (CVMP) van het Europees Geneesmiddelenbureau een positief advies heeft uitgebracht waarin wordt aanbevolen een vergunning voor het in de handel brengen van Felpreva® spot-on oplossing te verlenen ( tigolaner, emodepside, praziquantel). Felpreva® wordt voorgesteld voor de behandeling van endoparasietinfestaties, evenals voor de behandeling en bestrijding van ectoparasieten bij katten.1
Felpreva® is een vast combinatieproduct in de vorm van een spot-on parasiticide-oplossing voor de behandeling van katten wanneer tegelijkertijd ectoparasieten, cestoden en nematoden worden bestreden.1

- On approval, Felpreva® will be licensed for treatment in cats with, or at risk from, mixed ectoparasite infestations and endoparasite infections, and will be exclusively indicated when ectoparasites, cestodes and nematodes are targeted at the same time.
PARIS–(BUSINESS WIRE)– Vetoquinol (Paris: VETO) today announced that the European Medicines Agency’s Committee for Medicinal Products for Veterinary Use (CVMP) has adopted a positive opinion recommending the granting of a marketing authorization of Felpreva® spot-on solution (tigolaner, emodepside, praziquantel). Felpreva® is proposed to treat endoparasite infestations, as well as for treatment and control of ectoparasites in cats.1
Felpreva® is a fixed combination product in the form of a spot-on parasiticide solution for the treatment of cats when ectoparasites, cestodes and nematodes are targeted at the same time.1
