Morinaga Milk’s probioticum Bifidobacterium longum subsp. longum BB536 krijgt ANVISA-goedkeuring voor darmgezondheidsclaim in Brazilië

TOKIO–(BUSINESS WIRE)– Morinaga Milk Industry Co., Ltd. (TOKYO:2264), een toonaangevend Japans zuivelbedrijf, kondigt met trots aan dat zijn gepatenteerde probiotische stam Bifidobacterium longum subsp. longum BB536 (hierna Bifidobacterium longum BB536) is goedgekeurd door de Braziliaanse gezondheidsautoriteit (Agência Nacional de Vigilância Sanitária, ANVISA). De goedkeuring is verleend op 27 juli 2023 en staat het gebruik van Bifidobacterium longum BB536 toe in voedingssupplementen en conventionele voedingsproducten die in Brazilië worden verkocht. De stam is ook opgenomen in de ANVISA-lijst van goedgekeurde producten.
