CTS begint onderhoudsprogramma voor vliegtuigmotor KC-10
Negenjarig contract van Amerikaanse luchtmacht is nieuwste opdracht voor langdurig motoronderhoud door CTS
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla.–(BUSINESS WIRE)– CTS Engines, LLC, internationaal leider in onderhoud van oudere vliegtuigmotoren, heeft een Depot Readiness Review van de Amerikaanse luchtmacht afgerond met betrekking tot het onderhoudsprogramma voor de vliegtuigmotor KC-10 van de luchtmacht. Nu deze toets is afgerond, kan CTS direct beginnen met onderhoud en reparatie van CF6-50C2-motoren uit de vloot tankvliegtuigen van het type KC-10 Extender. CTS werd al eerder een onderhoudscontract voor de KC-10 gegund. De negenjarige overeenkomst is in 2017 aangegaan door CTS en zijn partner Lockheed Martin Commercial Engine Services, Inc. voor de onbeperkte levering /onbeperkte hoeveelheden.
CTS Commences KC-10 Engine Maintenance Program
Nine-year USAF contract is the latest long-term engine contract awarded to CTS
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla.–(BUSINESS WIRE)– CTS Engines, LLC, the global leader for mature jet engine maintenance, today announced that it had completed the United States Air Force’s Depot Readiness Review for the USAF’s KC-10 engine program. With this completion, CTS can immediately commence providing MRO services on the CF6-50C2 engine fleet powering the U.S. Air Force’s KC-10 Extender tanker aircraft under the previously awarded KC-10 engine maintenance contract. The nine-year, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract was awarded in 2017 to CTS and its partner, Lockheed Martin Commercial Engine Services, Inc.
