MACAU & LAS VEGAS–(BUSINESS WIRE)– Cognitec’s highly specialized face recognition technology FaceVACS-VideoScan was selected to strengthen physical security measures in major Macau casinos by alerting security staff in real time about banned persons entering the premises. In partnership with Melco Crown Entertainment, Cognitec supported the large-scale design and implementation efforts on site, resulting in multiple efficient system installations that now successfully prevent losses and criminal activities.
